COMPANY PROFILE

The Company was founded in 1849 on the initiative of Mazzucchelli's family members who, after over 150 years,

generation by generation, are still engaging themselves in research and innovation. Natural materials of the beggining Century gave way to celluloid, the first "plastics" available at that time. This was the very beginning of a long way: after costume jewellery items, toiletries, musical instruments, pens, dolls, buttons, spectacle frames, year after year the challenge to diversification led MAZZUCCHELLI 1849 to distinguish themselves as one of the more innovative companies in the plastics field.
The attention has always being turned to those products characterized by a technological and process know-how.

The Company has in fact achieved huge experience, also thanks to co-operations with qualified partners in the world (Du Pont, Dunlop, Saint Gobain, Rhone Poulenc, Dynamit Nobel).

Since the '90s MAZZUCCHELLI 1849 have focused their
interest on those markets, in which now they can boast
an important position at a worldwide level: OPTICS and
COSTUME JEWELLERY (Company's core business),
SAFETY and SPORTS EYE-WEAR, GRANULES.
Moreover, a project for a new product (Sicobloc®)
has been launched on the market for Furniture and
Fashion Accessories.
